Looking Back At 2023

Feliz año nuevo amigos! I hope that you have all enjoyed the holiday season and are ready for whatever 2024 may bring.

I am finally back in Peru after being held up by bureaucratic process and paperwork. I am not quite sure what this year has in-store for me or what the political situation here will dictate, but I intend to be in Peru for the entirety of 2024 as long as I am able.

I hit the ground running upon arrival as there were things happening that I needed to document. I will share those photos and stories with you soon. The festival of Takanakuy held on December 25th was especially fascinating. I am still trying processing that one. Watch your inboxes for the story and photos from that festival as they are coming soon.

For now, I am getting settled back into life here and looking to regain momentum on this project. As I do that, I have been reviewing the imagery from the project up to this point. I have put together a highlight reel to share with you. So if you have two minutes to spare, sit back with your beverage of choice and look back over this past year with me.

Thank you for joining me on this journey thus far and for your patience as I get back to work on it after bureaucracy placed it on pause. I hope you will continue on this adventure with me through 2024 and I wish you all the best on your own journey.

Here is to 2024

Saludos!
